WPLL (the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League) has announced their rescheduled WPLL Futures Event: DATE: Tuesday, June 5th 2018 TIME: 10am-12pm LOCATION: Ward Park, Ward Field B, 250 S. Perth Lane, Winter Park, FL 32792 COST: $100 until June 1; $125 until registration closes; $140 walk-up fee NOTE: Players accepted will be sent registration information for the Championship Event. WHY FUTURES? WPLL Futures is a nationwide lacrosse development program  that focuses as much on lacrosse as it does on character and leadership development. The WPLL has partnered with several industry leading companies such as BRAVE Enterprises and Victory Academy to create programming designed to empower and inspire Futures players. Open to high school players in twelve regions across the country, players chosen to take part in the Futures program will be invited to attend this summer’s Futures National Tournament where a champion will be crowned. The Futures Summit will be infused with intensive in-person and virtual leadership programming and will connect young players with current professional players. The WPLL Futures program will focus on:

• The development of confidence, competence, and leadership skills
• Lacrosse skills and techniques
• Team and game concepts
• Fitness and conditioning
• Social development training
• Emotional development training
