Looks like the Sunshine State Conference has granted a modified season for 2021, with 7 of the 8 schools competing. Embry-Riddle has decided to opt out for the season.
The 7 teams are scheduled for a total of 10 conference games and will not play out of conference this season.
The Lynn schedule has been posted and here it is to give you a sample of how the season will work:
It works out to 4 Home and Home’s and 2 single games. Home and Home with Tampa, FIT, PBA and FSC, with single games with Saint Leo and Rollins. Similar schedules will occur with other schools.
It might not be optimal but at least it’s LACROSSE!
I haven’t heard yet about the status of the NCAA D2 Tournament and how it will work and we’ll bring that to you when we know more. We’re also going to ask about fan attendance, as we’re sure there will be protocols to follow and we’ll pass them on too.
The Lynn Women have also posted their schedule and the link is HERE
The Women start March 24th.
