Why did you choose this college?

I chose Fairfield because it was a really great fit for me. It has a beautiful campus and a great business school. The coaches really made me feel wanted and I was regularly in touch with all 3 coaches, which is something that no other school did for me. It’s close to my family and New York City, which is where I grew up. I also really believe in Coach Baxter and believe we’ll be competing for a CAA championship year in and year out.

What are your first memories of the sport?

My first memories of the sport was playing in the Sachem Youth League on Long Island when I was in 1st grade and beating Islip in a crazy game.

What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future?

The most surprising aspect of the recruiting process was how much things change. The advice I would give others is to stay patient. Things change constantly throughout the process and you just have to stay calm. It’s tough seeing other kids commit before you but if you work hard and stay patient things will work out in the end.

Who would you like to thank for helping you get here?

So many people have helped me get to where I am now. First, I would like to thank my parents and my family. They’ve put in so much money and time to help me get to this point and I am so grateful. I would like to thank Coach Andrew, Coach Todd, Coach Brad and Coach Longo with the Tampa Tarpons and Plant for giving me so many great memories and helping me fall in love with the sport. I would like to thank my Plant Football Family, Coach Weiner, Coach Brock, Coach Brown and Coach Meyer for being great mentors to me throughout these last 4 years. Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Martin and Coach Dugan with Sweetlax. I couldn’t imagine navigating the recruiting process without them!
