Author’s Note:  Only 3 of the 24 players in this article are from the state of Florida.  That might be a bit of a heads-up to our Florida programs and players.  Division One lacrosse is a full-time job, not a secondary hobby.  Too many of our players go north and leave after one year.  The onus is starting to shift back to our players having to prove themselves more again.  Also, 24 players in one class is another warning sign, that the upperclassmen recruited 3-4 years ago will have to re-earn their spots.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University men’s lacrosse announced 24 players signed National Letters of Intent to join the Dolphins in the fall of 2018. Under the direction of second-year head coach John Galloway, Jacksonville continues the upward trend of elevating its program by bringing in the best and the brightest from around the nation. The group hails from 10 different states, along with the Canadian province of Ontario. “The class of 2022 is one of my proudest accomplishments in my coaching career. This will serve as our first full cycle recruiting class in my time here at Jacksonville University. We spent the last 18 months on the road identifying players that we know can help us become the most respcted program on campus, while also striving for championships both in the SoCon and nationally,” stated second-year head coach John Galloway. “These players believe in our vision and are prepared to go on a mission to create the culture we have outlined. I couldn’t be prouder to welcome this group of young men and their families to Jacksonville University and our #DuvalMission!”   To learn more about the 2018 signing class, click here or on the picture below.     Adobe Spark Page
