MEN’S LACROSSE GARNERS NINE ALL-CONFERENCE AWARDS

Keiser Men’s Lacrosse earned nine all-conference awards including four first-teamers and five on the second-team. Craig Marentette: Marentette was named first team all-conference for the second straight season. Marentette led the team in every offensive category for the second straight year with 28 goals, 20 assists, and 48 points. He ranks third in the NAIA in points per game, fifth in shots on goal per game and sixth in shots per game and assists per game. James Redpath: Redpath earned first team all-conference in his first season with the Seahawks. The short stick defensive midfielder had 19 ground balls and one caused turnover. On offense, he scored a goal and had three assists. Christian Esquilin: Esquilin, a freshman faceoff specialist garnered first team all-conference recognition. Esquilin was 135-for-222 in the circle, winning 61 percent of the time. He led the team in ground balls with 72 while scoring four goals and picking up an assist. Justin Stone: Stone was the final Seahawk to garner first team all-conference honors, earning this recognition for the second straight season. At defense, Stone had seven caused turnovers while picking up 24 ground balls. He also scored a goal and had three helpers. Nolan Duncan: Duncan was named to the second team all-conference for the second consecutive season. Duncan was second on the team in scoring with 20 goals and chipped in six assists for 26 points. Hunter East: East, a freshman garnered second team all-conference recognition. East finished the year with 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points. Justin Flint: Flint, a first team all-conference player last season was named to the second team this year. Flint tallied 12 goals and helped on five goals for 17 points. Channing Thomas: Thomas earned second-team honors in his first year with the Keiser program. He caused 15 turnovers and picked up 15 ground balls on defense. Thomas also scored a goal against Point. Anthony Bressi: Bressi was the final Seahawk to garner conference recognition as the freshman made the second team. Bressi boasted a 3-1 record in the cage with 49 saves along with a 53 percent save percentage.
