After winning the initial faceoff, Maclay managed to control the ball for the first five minutes of the opening quarter. At 4:21, Maclay’s Everett Thompson (#14) scores off a rebound. At 2:24, Sam Chase (#2) increases Maclay’s lead by two. With under a minute left in the half, Maclay snatches away Lincoln’s momentum on a failed clear. Liam McAbee (#24) finds Sam Chase (#2) to put Maclay ahead 4-2. With under ten seconds left in the quarter, Winegardner (#6) dodges down the left wing and fires to increase Maclay’s lead 5-2.     Both teams struggle in the opening of the third quarter.  At 7:14, Brendan Stamper (#3) scores at the top of the box to close Maclay’s lead (5-3).  At 6:33, Nathaniel Lata (#13) teams ups with Morgan Bell (#11), who blasts it from the right wing to bring Lincoln within one (5-4).  Caleb (#19) scores for Lincoln to tie the game (5-5).  At 5:28, Maclay’s Stone Foster (#4) breaks the tie. Maclay up 6-5. Lincoln closes the third quarter with a goal from Josh Roberts (#16), Bell (#11) assisting. Game tied 6-6 going into the fourth quarter. Man-up, Lincoln takes the lead with a goal by Bell (#11) at 10:21.  Sam Chase (#2) finds the back of the net at 10:10.  Tied 7-7.     Carson Rowe (#23) probably had the goal of the game.  Somehow he managed to pull down a high pass at the top of the crease and score for the Marauders.  Maclay up 8-7 at 9:55. Thompson (#14) scores his third goal of the game at 7:58.  Maclay up by two. Twenty-seven seconds later, Rowe (#23) finds Chase (#2) for a man-up goal.  Maclay increases their lead by three (10-7).
