MCLA Polls: FSU at #15 & UF Gets Votes in D1, FGCU at #10 & UNF at #22 in D2!

D-I Poll: Utah Tightens Grip

ATLANTA – A week ago Utah held a narrow, one-point lead for the top spot and was tied with the most first place votes. This week, the margin is far more comfortable for the Utes. Utah (6-0) swept 20 of the 27 first place votes and sits ahead of No. 2 and defending national champion Grand Canyon (5-0) by a comfortable 25-point margin in the Under Armour MCLA Division I Weekly Coaches Poll. The Lopes managed to stay in the second chair by a scant two points as No. 3 Chapman (7-0) actually took four first place votes to Grand Canyon’s three. Michigan State (7-0) sits firmly at No. 4 followed by No. 5 Colorado (5-1). The Spartans have a monster matchup with CCLA rival and No. 14 Davenport (5-0) on Friday night while the Buffaloes entertain No. 16 Arizona State (3-5) the same evening. D-II Poll: Bison Rolling

ATLANTA – For the third consecutive week, North Dakota State is the No. 1 team in the Under Armour MCLA Division II Weekly Coaches Poll. The Bison (6-0) snatched 20 of the 21 first place votes this week with No. 2 Minn.-Duluth (6-2) grabbing one top nod. St. Thomas (4-1) remains seated at No. 3 after a 3-0 run at Music City Judgement while St. John’s (5-0) jumps up three spots to No. 4 after a 4-0 mark in Nashville. Dayton (4-1) picked up its first loss of the season to St. John’s, but stays put at No. 5. Louisiana (3-4) departs the poll this week, making way for Colorado Denver (3-0).
