PBA Men: Sailfish Fall 15-6 to North Greenville to Complete Road Trip

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Palm Beach Atlantic men’s lacrosse dropped their third straight game on Wednesday, as they fell to North Greenville by a 15-6 final score.  The Sailfish fall to 2-5 with the non-conference loss while the Crusaders improve to 4-2 with the victory at W.C. Hawkins Stadium.

The Crusaders controlled the first half of play, as they scored five goals in each of the first two quarters to take a 10-1 lead into halftime.  The lone Sailfish goal in the first half came at the end of the first quarter and was scored by Jackson Miller.

The Sailfish played much better in the final half of play, as both teams scored five goals in the second half.  Trevor Keena scored a pair of goals in the second half, while Colin HayekTrent Parker, and Jordan Trowbridge added goals for the Sailfish.

Keena led the Sailfish with 11 shots on the night, with Miller adding six.  Landon Johnson won seven of his 19 faceoff attempts on Wednesday, while leading the team with four ground balls.  The Crusaders finished the afternoon with 30 groundballs while the Sailfish had just 19.  Ben Savick played made nine saves for the Sailfish, who finish their spring break trip and will now head back to Florida.

The Sailfish will return to action on Saturday, March 10 as they will host Emmanuel at 2 p.m. at the Rinker Athletic Campus.  The ‘Fish will play their next three games at home, as Colorado Mesa and Embry-Riddle will head to town for games as well.
