WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women’s lacrosse and Head Coach Jayson Schmidt have released the upcoming 2020 schedule.

The third-year program will play 11 of their 17 games at the Rinker Athletic Campus including the home opener on Feb. 19 against Ave Maria. The ‘Fish open the season with three neutral site games, the first coming against Alabama-Huntsville on Feb. 8 in Tampa and then a trip to Maryland to take on Post University (Feb. 14) and Florida Tech (Feb. 16).

Once the team returns home from Maryland, they’ll play seven straight at home to wrap up their nonconference slate. PBA will play eight teams they’ve never faced during the nonconference portion of their schedule including Mars Hill, UVA-Wise, Southern Wesleyan, Notre Dame (Ohio) and New York Tech. The ‘Fish will also take on Gannon who they played in the 2018 season.

Conference play will begin on March 28 as PBA heads to Lakeland to battle Florida Southern. The conference home opener on April 1 will feature the first battle of Palm Beach County as first-year program Lynn visits the RAC.

PBA will also host Florida Tech (April 4), Tampa (April 11) and Embry-Riddle (April 15) during SSC play while making trips to Saint Leo (April 8) and Rollins (April 18).

The Sailfish are coming off of a 5-9 season in 2019 and return their top-two goal scorers and point scorers in Kiki Cinotti and Grace Bartlinski.
