(April 6, 2018) – Phenoms Lacrosse, a Florida based travel lacrosse club that will participate in National events outside of the state of Florida, is pleased to announce their inaugural tryout and season. Phenoms Lacrosse will operate outside of the typical Florida travel season in order to not conflict with local clubs and provide an opportunity for the best players of each club to form a team to participate in national and showcase events. Phenoms Lacrosse will take the best 22 players from each graduation year (2022-2026) and compete in 2 tournaments in the summer and one tournament in the fall. The team will hold tryouts in late April and will be coached by the best coaches around the state with guest appearances from pro players and college coaches. “The Phenoms will unite the best club programs in Florida to form one team, with a common goal of helping Florida players showcase themselves on the national stage.” said Tony Lowe, Founder of Snipers Lacrosse and Director of Operations for Phenoms.  “The cooperation between the clubs is going to put an incredible product on the field and help Florida Lacrosse raise their national profile.” He added “This is a great opportunity for Florida Lacrosse players to compete on a team with access to the best coaching, tournaments and mentorship.  It’s our goal to make the best players better and guide them to be the best they can be on and off the field.” Phenoms Lacrosse will hold a North and South Florida tryout. The South tryout is April 29 in Boca Raton, the North tryout is May 6 in Vero Beach. This summer the team will attend the Warrior Summer Sizzle in Baltimore and the Lacrosse Shootout PA in Hershey, PA.
