The 12th-ranked Florida Tech Panthers continued their winning ways Wednesday, scoring eight first period goals en route to a dominating 17-3 win over visiting Embry-Riddle in men’s lacrosse. It was the seventh consecutive victory for the Crimson and Gray.

Tajee Mobley scored four consecutive goals bridging the end of the second quarter and the start of the fourth, in what was a five-goal day for him. Mobley took nine of the Panthers 51 total shots, 30 were on goal.

The third quarter was scoreless on both sides.

Matt Weinstein and Brett Pohlmeyer had two goals each for the Panthers and Tyler Covey had one goal and three assists, as did Brad Schillinger.

Justin Williams and Brett Pohlmeyer scored two minutes apart, giving the Panthers a two-goal advantage with 7:33 left in the first quarter. Covey, Weinstein, Pohlmeyer, Tyler Oblong and Lance Pavlina all scored before Weinstein scored his second of the day with 1:46 to go in the opening Stanza, opening up an 8-0 lead for the home team.
