To pursue my dream of becoming an anesthesiologist while playing at a top-tier Division three program What are your first memories of the sport? My first memory of the sport has to be my first day of recreation lacrosse with the Weston Warriors. That was the day my coach threw me in net and the rest is history What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future? I think the thing most surprising about the recruiting process to me, at least is the process in itself. When we all started playing, we all looked up to these college guys, wishing to be where they are and for that to finally happen is so surreal. A piece of advice for those facing the recruiting process or will in the future is to not worry about getting recruited. Just worry about what you can control and be the best player that you can be. Who would you like to thank for helping you get here? Firstly I’d like to thank my parents for raising me the right way, and for being hard on me when they had to. They taught me how to respect and to be the best that I’d could be on and off the field. I’d also like to thank Coach Seaman to introducing me to Goucher and for being one of the best coaches that I’ve had the pleasure of playing for. Finally, I’d like to thank Coach Kelly for seeing something in me that nobody else saw and for giving me this amazing opportunity to better myself as a student and a player.
