Saint Leo Men: Jorgensen Welcomes Scoba as Newest Member of Saint Leo Men’s Lacrosse Coaching Staff

  via Saint Leo press release   SAINT LEO, Fla. – Brad Jorgensen, 15-year men’s lacrosse head coach at Saint Leo, announced the hiring of full-time assistant coach, Sam Scoba on Monday, August 5, 2019. Scoba transitions to the Lions sidelines after a pair of seasons at Oberlin College as the Yeomen’s offensive coordinator. “Coach Scoba is a great fit for Saint Leo and our lacrosse program,” expressed Jorgensen. “His work ethic and diverse experience will be great assets for our team. We are really excited to have him on board.” Prior to his time at Oberlin, Scoba served as an assistant at Westborough High School. He played lacrosse at the collegiate level playing for Dean College and Endicott College. Scoba earned the title of Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Champion with his teammates in 2015 while also being named NEILA All-Academic team, receiving the Commonwealth Academic award. Scoba obtained his Entrepreneurship bachelors from Endicott College’s Curtis L. Gerrish School of Business in 2015.
