Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Jake Gilmour / Saint Leo University / Sr. / Attack / Pickering, Ontario
Gilmour led No. 15 Saint Leo against No. 7 NYIT on Sunday with four goals and two assists tallying six points. The Pickering, Ontario product scored the Lions’ seventh, tenth, 16th, and 17th goals in the 18-10 upset. Gilmour also picked up two ground balls in the win as the Lions move to 4-0 on the season.
Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Thomas Tatarian / Saint Leo University / Jr. / Goalkeeper / Shoreham, New York
Tatarian is awarded his second Defensive Player of the Week award this season following the No. 15 Saint Leo Lions 18-10 upset over No. 7 NYIT on Sunday afternoon. With 24 saves, the Shoreham, New York native set the program’s single-game save record after facing 48 shots in the full 60 minutes of play. Tatarian also picked up three ground balls and posted a .706 save percentage in Saint Leo’s fourth win of the season.
Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Caroline Dunleavy / Florida Tech / Sr. / Attack / Annapolis, Maryland
Dunleavy earns Player of the Week after recording 14 points on nine goals and five assists to guide No. 6 Florida Tech to a 2-0 record against a pair of ranked opponents on the road. Dunleavy tallied six points on a hat trick and three assists to help Florida Tech defeat No. 13 Limestone, 18-14, on Friday in Gaffney, South Carolina. The senior then notched eight points on six goals, and two assists as the Panthers defeated No. 7 Queens, 17-8, Sunday in Charlotte.
Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Schiano is awarded Defensive Player of the Week after tallying 17 draw controls, 12 ground balls, seven caused turnovers, and five goals this week to guide No. 6 Florida Tech to a 2-0 record against a pair of ranked opponents on the road. Schiano posted five draw controls, four caused turnovers, four ground balls, and two goals to help FIT take down No. 13 Limestone, 18-14, on Friday in Gaffney, South Carolina. The junior then recorded a school record 12 draw controls, eight ground balls, three caused turnovers, and three goals as FIT defeated No. 7 Queens, 17-8, on Sunday in Charlotte.
