SSC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Presented by Jimmy John’s

Jackson Colling / Rollins College / Sr. / Midfield / Maitland, Florida

Colling is awarded Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winner in overtime against No. 10 Wingate University. The senior from Maitland, Florida, scored a game-high four goals (three unassisted) in the 10-9 victory. Colling placed all four of his shots on target and picked up a groundball during the match.

SSC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week Presented by Jimmy John’sChase Snyder / Rollins College / Jr. / LSM / Powell, Ohio Snyder pulls in Defensive Player of the Week honors following his efforts in Rollins’ 10-9 overtime win against No. 10 Wingate University. Snyder, a native of Powell, Ohio, caused a game-high three turnovers and picked up a ground ball during the upset victory. The junior anchored a Tars defense that did not allow a goal for the final 25 minutes of the game and allowed only 14 shots on target over 62 minutes of action.

SSC Men’s Lacrosse Specialist of the Week Presented by Jimmy John’sRoss Dickerson / University of Tampa / Sr. / FOS / Berlin, Maryland Dickerson repeats as Specialist of the Week following his performance in the X during Tampa’s 16-6 victory against North Greenville University. The senior faceoff specialist was a perfect 19-of-19 in faceoffs during the win. Dickerson also picked up 16 groundballs in the contest. The weekly award is the 10th of his career, which places him third all-time in SSC men’s lacrosse and eighth among all Tampa student-athletes.

SSC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Presented by Jimmy John’sMarina Jozokos / Florida Southern College / Sr. / Midfield / Wolfeboro, New Hampshire Jozokos receives Offensive Player of the Week honors after a game-high six points in FSC’s 19-3 win over No. 21 Seton Hill University. The Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, product scored four goals, all in the first half, and added two assists to reach her total of six points. The senior placed all four of her shots on target during the contest and added a draw control to her stat sheet. The weekly award is the second of her career.

13964Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week Presented by Jimmy John’sMary Catherine Kreider / Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University / Jr. / Goalie / Marietta, Georgia Kreider anchored ERAU’s defense in wins against Coker University and Wingate University, earning her SSC Weekly Honors. The Marietta, Georgia native totaled two saves while facing four shots during a 26-6 win over Coker. Against Wingate, Kreider stopped three shots and allowed three goals as ERAU cruised to a 15-5 victory.
