The Taylor Cummings-esque playmaker will fit right into the Terrapin midfield system, and heads into next season as one of the top players to watch in the nation. “Shay has the ability to impact a game in so many ways and isn’t just a scorer,” says Ahearn’s high school coach, Brian Reese. “She’s a great offensive player but can win draws, get ground balls and cover the other team’s best player. She’s also very competitive and isn’t afraid of a challenge.”
