The school offers my major of Sustainability and I was impressed with the professors, lacrosse team girls and coaches! The team has had a great year and I hope I can learn more, become stronger and be a key contributor to the team! What are your first memories of the sport? Me and my sister joined a club to learn the sport and we showed up with boys sticks…we had no idea! What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future? Things don’t always fall into place like you envision. It’s hard to overcome set backs but ultimately you learn from these experiences…maybe not right away but at some point you get to the point where you not only appreciate the opportunities that you got; but also enjoy and look forward to being a part of it and can’t remember it any other way! Who would you like to thank for helping you get here? I would like to thank my parents, my sister, my high school coaches and club coaches and my teammates. Lacrosse has been such an amazing journey and being a newer sport in Florida so many people help to teach, encourage and provide opportunities to be involved…it’s so different in a great way from other sports I have played.
