OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – The University of Tampa Spartans defeated the New York Institute of Technology Bears by a final score of 16-12. The University of Tampa is now 8-4 on the 2019 season.

The first goal of the game was scored by the NYIT Bears.
Ross Dickersonwon 21-31 face-offs for UT. Additionally, he recorded 14 groundballs for UT.
B.J. Borowskiplayed the entire 60 minutes for the Spartans. The sophomore recorded 8 saves in the contest.

This Spartans will travel to Lakeland, Florida on Wednesday, April 3rdto take on conference foe, Florida Southern College. The game against the Moccasins is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Barnett Athletic Complex.
