MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Tech women’s lacrosse team released its 2025 schedule under the direction of second-year head coach Kelsey Richardson. This year’s schedule features 17 games, including nine home games, and a seven-game Sunshine State Conference (SSC) slate.
“We have a tough slate for 2025, but our team is ready,” said Richardson about the 2025 schedule. “To be the best, we have to compete with the best and our girls have fully embraced that. We have grown and developed a lot over the past year, and I am so excited to see our team ascend throughout the Spring season.”
The 2025 journey begins on Feb. 1 with a home game against Flagler in a rematch from last year’s season opener that saw Tech battle down to the wire in a 12-9 loss to the Saints. The home opener is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Rick Stottler Field in Melbourne, Fla.
The Panthers will then travel up to North Carolina for back-to-back games against SAC opponents Wingate and Lenoir-Rhyne on Feb. 8 and 9.
Following the trip, Tech has a five game non-conference homestand beginning with Embry-Riddle on February 12. After nine days off of competition, Rollins will then come to Melbourne on Feb. 21, and the Panthers round out February with a home game against Colorado Mesa on the 27th.
The home stand concludes in March with games against Tampa and Seton Hill on March 7 and 10.
Tech then heads back North for two games against GSC opponents Young Harris and Lander on March 15 and 18.
Following the road trip, the Panthers begin conference play at home on March 22 against Saint Leo. Tech then hits the road for two more conference games against Rollins and PBA on March 29 and April 2.
The Panthers will return to the confines of Rick Stottler Field and celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, April 5 against Tampa.
Tech concludes the road schedule with conference games and Lynn and Embry-Riddle on April 9 and 12, before concluding the regular season on Tuesday April 15 at home against Florida Southern.
The SSC Tournament is scheduled to begin with the quarterfinal round on April 19, followed by the semifinal round on April 24, and the championship game on April 27.
The NCAA Tournament is scheduled to begin on May 9 with the Final Four weekend scheduled for May 22-25.
