ST. AUGUSTINE – Lexie MortonCarley TepelElla PinderCarly LaFerriereSydney OnegaKate Piscopo, and Jessica Wright all scored two goals apiece for No. 15 (IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll) Flagler College in their 14-6 win over Newberry College this afternoon.
 
Flagler wins its fourth game in a row to improve to 6-1. Newberry dropped to 5-4.
 
The Saints dominated the first half of the game, scoring four unanswered goals in the second quarter.The Flagler defense kept Newberry from making any shots the entire quarter as well leaving with an 8-3 lead at the half.
 
The Wolves put up a strong fight with goalie Mackenzie Dorr making eight saves and Madison Miller winning five draw controls.
 
Anna Day caused four turnovers in favor of the Saints today along with goalie Lauren Ribadeneira collecting five groundballs and making eight saves.
 
The Saints will be back March 19 at 1 p.m. in a home match up against No. 18 Saint Leo University.
