It’s still early but at least most schools have reached the 3-game mark. Community School of Naples suffered losses, including one top player who decided not to play, hence their difficult start (and the schedule didn’t adjust to the reality), so that was a bad call on my part. Academy of the Holy Names started 1-2 so they will have to grind their way back up.

There are a number of undefeated schools that I think are too early to consider and will track to see if they are earning consideration.

A few surprises are showing themselves and have snuck into the Top 10, plus consideration. For example, King’s Academy defeated SJP II and stand 4-1. Manatee dropped a one-goal loss to undefeated Out-of-Door. Although 2-2, Bishop Moore’s resume is still impressive, with a win over Lake Brantley, a 1-goal loss to Vero and 3-goal loss to Ponte Vedra; both Final Four teams last year. Pensacola Catholic has come out strong and handled a good Georgia team in Columbus to earn their appearance alongside Gulf Breeze. Jensen Beach’s road win at Edgewood opened eyes.
