Here’s last week’s Poll:

FLN Girls 1A Top 10 Poll for the Week Ending 3/26/23

1) American Heritage-Delray (12-1)

2) Lake Highland Prep (10-2)

3) Ponte Vedra (8-3)

4) Episcopal School (7-4)

5) South Fork (8-1)

6) St. Augustine (12-3)

7) St. Stephen’s (10-0)

8) Saint Andrew’s (8-2)

9) Pine Crest (9-2)

10) Pensacola Catholic (6-3)/Jensen Beach (9-4)

Also Considered:

American Heritage-Plantation (8-0), Bishop Moore (6-7), Community School (9-1)

American Heritage-Delray continues to cruise along, with wins over IMG and St. Augustine this week, and finish with a Tuesday trip to Community School. This team definitely needs to be in ANY Inside Lacrosse national Top 25.

Lake Highland went 3-0 on the week, with two out-of-state wins and the Citrus championship over Bishop Moore. They end on Wednesday with a great matchup with Hagerty.

Ponte Vedra finished their season with a road win at Plant.

Episcopal School went 2-1 on the week, with wins over Bishop Moore and Bolles, but dropped a game to Hagerty. They host Lake Brantley to end their regular season.

South Fork garnered two wins, over Martin County and Dwyer, and host Boca Raton tomorrow in what should be a terrific game, and they finish with Cardinal Newman at home on Tuesday.

St. Augustine finished their regular season with a split week; losing a competitive game with AH-Delray, then beating Lake Brantley by a goal.

St. Stephen’s finished their regular season with a perfect record, going 2-0. A very impressive win over Gulf Coast and an easy win over Lakewood Ranch keeps their momentum going into the brackets.

St. Andrew’s cruised past Calvary Christian Ft Laud and NSU University and have two tough tests this week with local rivalry game versus SJP II and Boca Raton to end the year. They should be a lock for an at-large at this point, since they would have to take down AH-Delray to win their district.

Pine Crest split on the week, taking a bad loss at a Vero team that was coming off their own bad loss to Lake Mary, after handling Ransom.

Pensacola Catholic went 2-1 on the week, with the loss to a very strong Starr’s Mill (GA); they should glide past their last two games this week.

Jensen Beach won their only game and should have no trouble with their last two games this week. District 13 will be a heck of a district tourney, so they might need one win there to guarantee an at-large bid if that is needed.

AH-Plantation went 2-0 over Cardinal Gibbons and SJP II and have two easy games this week. They’ve probably done enough at this point (barring an upset this week) to get in as an at-large if they do not topple Pine Crest in district.

Bishop Moore continues their pattern of losing games to tough teams, and they have two more chances to win one, with both St. Thomas and Bartram this week. The FHSAA has recognized the total resume, so they will be in the brackets even with a potential 6-11 regular season record.

Community School swept road games with Barron Collier and Gulf Coast, and they need a ranking. A final test at home with AH-Delray is on tap Tuesday.

King’s Academy is finishing strong, including a win over Stoneman, so they get back into consideration this week. No one else has shown enough at this point. Bolles is next, but they haven’t had a good win, and a number of bad losses to the best teams on their schedule.
