Hall and Hoey Conquer Player of the Week Honors for the Gators

Hall had three goals and 13 assists, while Hoey recorded 10 saves in two Gators wins.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Following a week where the Florida lacrosse team went 2-0, Maggi Hall and Georgia Hoey brought home AAC Player of the Week honors, which was announced Monday afternoon.
Hall was named AAC Attacker of the Week for the first time in her career. She is coming off a two-game stretch where she had three goals and 13 assists, including a program best eight assists in the win over UC Davis. The senior recorded her 200th career point this past week, becoming only the 12th player in school history to reach that mark. She also moved into first all-time in Florida career assists with 95 and counting. She currently ranks ninth in assists per game (3.14) and 15th in points per game (5.29) with an overall collection of 15 goals and 22 assists on the year.
Hoey earned her second AAC Goalkeeper of the Week award this year. The Fairfield, Conn. native had 10 saves this week in 60 minutes, stopping 58.8 percent of her shots faced. She has now given up five goals or less in her last five outings in net. The UConn transfer has a 5-0 record, with 34 saves and a save percentage of .586.
The 13th ranked Gators will begin a five game home stand this Wednesday, as they take on No. 21 Princeton at 1 p.m.
