This video was created in the 2012-13 academic year by the Syracuse University School of Sports Management and I would suggest every parent and child who is thinking of playing this sport or has already started, will find this an excellent introduction to the sport.  This sport has a very different history to other team sports in North America.  not only is it the oldest sport in this continent but it’s significance extended far beyond being just a sport. This film will take you through that history so the parent and child can understand what exactly you are getting into from that standpoint.  The film takes less than an hour.  This was played on ESPN when it first debuted.
