Jack played in the NCAA DIII title game for Salisbury, falling to RIT 15-14 in double OT. Jack went 2G/1A in the championship game. That will never not be incredible.
The only difference is Dowd received the pitch via Zoom this summer after spending his first year at Furman, now shuttered by the university. Still a freshman eligibility-wise, Dowd has been a revelation for the Sea Gulls, with the 6-foot-5 midfielder from Florida immediately working his way into a key role and solidifying the first midfield.
