via Report Media Coverage/School press release

Tigerville – Former Piedmont University goalie Zach Czulada has been added as the Graduate Assistant for the NGU men’s lacrosse staff. During his 5 year career as the starting goaltender at Piedmont, he served as Captain for 2 years.

Zach holds the school record for wins (31), saves (785), and held a .594 save percentage and goals scored for a goalie(1). Zach was apart of the 2019 USA South Championship in which he won Tournament MVP and helped lead Piedmont to their first NCAA Tournament appearance. He was selected First-Team All Conference twice in 2018 & 2021. Czulada added All-Region as well as USA South Defensive Player of The Year to his accolades in 2021. To cap off his career Czulada was a representative for the South team in the Division III North South Senior All Star Game.

“We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Zach Czulada as our graduate assistant.  From the moment I met him, I could tell that his energy and passion for lacrosse and for teaching will be contagious to our student-athletes.  Zach had an excellent playing career at Piedmont College, and will work extensively with our defense and our goalies – but more importantly I know that he will be a pillar that our men can lean on and place their trust in.  Coach Czulada stood out as a ‘go-getter’ throughout the interview process, and that will be a critical trait to have as he makes his way through the coaching ranks.  He has already hit the ground running since we brought him on a few weeks ago!  Our student-athletes and our staff are so fortunate to bring him on board.”

Zach graduated with a B.S. in Sports and Fitness Administration and will be pursuing his M.B.A. here at North Greenville over the next 2 years.
