JU Men: Dolphins Welcome Utah for Jacksonville Lacrosse Classic
Jacksonville, Fla. – The Jacksonville Men’s Lacrosse programs returns to Rock Stadium Sunday night, welcoming Utah for the 11th Jacksonville Lacrosse Classic.
LAST TIME OUT
Last Saturday, the Dolphins traveled out west and defeated the 14th ranked Denver Pioneers, 11-9, at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
Jacob Greiner’s six goal effort fueled the ‘Phins offensively. Jeremy Winston multi-goal showing, as well Tucker Garrity, Jackson Intrieri and Max Waldbaum’s solo-goal performances rounded out the scoring for Jacksonville. Luke Millican earned the victory between the pipes, stopping 11 shots in the contest.
On Sunday, Jacksonville completed their Colorado road trip, defeating Air Force 15-9 at Falcon Stadium.
Jacob Greiner stuffed the stat sheet once again, having six goals and an assist in the victory, while Max Waldbaum was shortly behind with five scores. Luke Millican, Jack Dolan, Jackson Intrieri and Bo BowHunter rounded out the scoring for the Dolphins. Millican earned the victory in goal for Jacksonville, stopping 13 shots in the effort.
WHO
The Dolphins face Utah (2-1) for the third time in program history. The two programs met a season ago in Salt Lake City, a game which Jacksonville was victorious.

Sunday night’s matchup between the Dolphins and the Utes at Rock Stadium has opening faceoff slated for 6 PM.
