Keiser Faces off With Indiana Tech for NAIA National Championship

The top two teams in NAIA men’s lacrosse will faceoff tomorrow afternoon in the NAIA national championship. The No. 1 Keiser Seahawks will take on the No. 2 Indiana Tech Warriors at 1:00 p.m. CT in Pensacola, Fla.

  • Goalkeeper Christian Tomei is the reigning AAC Defensive Player of the Year. The Jupiter, Fla. native leads the NAIA in save percentage, (69.3) and has the most goalie wins in Keiser season history (16). 
  • IT boasts boasts four WHAC First Team All-Conference selections. 
  • The Warriors lead the country in caused turnovers (380).
  • The Warriors defeated No. 3 Cumberlands (Ky.) in a tightly contested 8-7 victory last night. 
  • Five Seahawks have 23+ goals on the season.  
  • IT is on a 11 game winning streak, and earned an automatic bid to the tournament by winning the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. 
  • KU has outscored its opponents 219-107 this season, and outshot them 757-514.
