Keiser Men: #4 Men’s Lacrosse Claims Six All-Conference and One Special Award

Keiser claimed six all-conference selections, including one first-team honor and five second-team awards. The Seahawks collected one special award as Vincent Cerasuolo was named Freshman of the Year.
First Team All-Conference
Cole Stassi, Sophomore, Holbrook, N.Y.
- Garnered First Team honors
- Led Keiser in assists(29) and points(50)
- Collected his 100th career point in a win over Webber on April 9
- Earned his program-best 56th career assist this season against Tennessee Wesleyan
- This season, he only trails Cerasuolo in goals scored with 21 on the year
- Sits tied for third on the team with 21 groundballs
Second Team All-Conference
Vincent Cerasuolo, Freshman, Wellington, Fla.
- Garnered AAC Freshman of the Year honors
- Earned second-team honors in his first season at Keiser
- Led Keiser with 35 goals on the season
- Enters the final site ranked seventh in the NAIA with 148 shots and fifth in program history
Cole George, Sophomore, Bowmanville, Ontario
- Received Second Team All-Conference honors
- Started all 12 games in goal for the Seahawks
- Wrapped up the conference tournament with 126 saves on the year
- Currently has a save percentage of .583 this season
- Tied the program record for saves in a game with 18 against Lawrence Tech
- Moved into first place all-time for goalkeeper wins and saves with 14 and 214 respectively
Reese Niemeier, Freshman, New Lenox, Ill.
- Earned Second Team All-Conference honors as a defender
- Led the Seahawks with 17 caused turnovers on the year
- Collected 17 groundballs in his defensive role with the team
- Against Webber on April 9, had five groundballs and two caused turnovers
Gavin Goeden, Sophomore, Bradenton, Fla.
- Secured postseason honors for the first time in his career
- Played in all 12 games for the Seahawks as a midfielder
- Had two games where he recorded three groundballs and two caused turnovers
- Credited with 15 caused turnovers and 19 groundballs on the year
Cam Provines, Sophomore, Palm City, Fla.
- Named to the Second Team as a Face-off Specialist
- Leads the Seahawks with a season-record 176 faceoff wins and a season-record 109 groundballs
- His 109 groundballs rank fifth in the NAIA heading into the final site
- Continues to improve his program-best 230 career groundballs and 372 faceoff wins
- Boasts a 71.5% faceoff win percentage which ranks third in the NAIA among players with at least 100 faceoff wins
