Keiser men’s lacrosse announced their 2022 schedule on Tuesday. The Seahawks are set to play 12 games in the 2022 calendar year, including six in West Palm Beach, Florida, at the Multi-Purpose Field.
The Seahawks will lean on returning NAIA All-American, Cam Provines to win opening faceoffs and apply pressure. The sophomore broke the single-season record for ground balls with 85 and holds the single-game record for faceoff wins and grounds balls with 26 and 18, respectively.
Cole Stassi will be the highest scoring returner with 14 goals to his name along with a team-best 22 assists. Both Cole George and Anthony Bressi return as goalkeepers in 2022 and will battle for the opening day roster spot.
The Seahawks will open their season at home against Westcliff University on February 11 at the Multi-Purpose Field in West Palm Beach, Fla., at 6:00 p.m.
Keiser will play their first game in the Appalachian Athletic Conference at Point University on February 18 at 1:00 p.m.
The defending National Champions, Reinhardt, will make the trip to West Palm Beach on March 7 for a rematch of the NAIA Invitational Semifinal.
Senior Night will be held on April 1 at 2:00 p.m against SCAD Savannah on the home turf.
The AAC tournament will take place over two weeks with the opening round being held at campus sites on April 14-16. The semifinal and final games will be played in Waleska, Ga., on April 22-23.
The 2022 NAIA Men’s Lacrosse National Invitational will be held in Pensacola, Fla., at the Ashton Brosnaham Athletic Park scheduled for May 11-14.
