Keiser Women: Bennett Named IWLCA NAIA Coach of the Year!

Head Coach Lauren Bennett was named the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) NAIA Coach of the Year Thursday during the 2021 IWLCA Convention presented by StringKing. The award marks the second IWLCA NAIA Coach of the Year honor of Bennett’s career.

  • Garnered NAIA National Coach of the Year honors for the second time
  • Named the MSC Coach of the Year for the second time in her career
  • Guided the Seahawks to their first NAIA National Championship
  • Earned the first No. 1 ranking in program history
  • Led Keiser to their first undefeated season in program history at 16-0 (6-0)
  • Coached a conference-best 11 All-Conference players
  • Helped the Seahawks to a program-best six NAIA All-American awards
