ST AUGUSTINE – The Flagler College Saints posted a season high 11 goals in a loss to Davenport University, 12-11, Tuesday night at Flagler Lacrosse and Intramural Field.

The Saints are still on the hunt for their first win in the young program’s history, dropping to 0-5. Davenport improves to 2-1.

The Saints brought a 10-7 lead into the final quarter, with the third quarter ending with an acrobatic goal by Willy Bateman as time expired.

The Panthers wasted no time getting to work in the final 15 minutes. Trent Eichbauer beat goalie Tim Russell in the first ten seconds, cutting the lead to 10-8. Geraint Shaw responded off a feed from Bateman to get the lead back up to three.
