Boca Raton, FL (December 6, 2024) – The votes are in from the D-II SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference that Florida Atlantic University takes the ’25 number one spot in the Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Owls ended the 2024 season 15 – 3 and won the SELC D-II Championship title for their first time ever. “We are extremely excited for the opportunity to defend our SELC title. After graduating a large senior class, we will have our work cut out for us but having this level of expectation on our group means that we have a lot to live up to. We are ready to show the league what we are capable of,” said FAU’s Head Coach Stavros Neocleous. “Preseason polls are a reflection of a past season and although our 2023/24 season was a strong campaign, we feel like we have a group that can build on that and reach new heights in 2025.”
