ATLANTA – After leading Tampa to its first ranked win in program history, Spartans senior midfielder Quinn Peters has been named the MCLA Division II Warrior Player of the Week for the period ending March 31.

With Tampa going up against No. 24 Florida Gulf Coast and attempting to keep its dimming SELC tournament hopes alive, the Syracuse, N.Y., native stepped up big for the Spartans. He scored a hat trick along with dishing out five assists.

Peters’ final goal of the contest was the game-winning overtime strike that gave Tampa the 18-17 victory. For the season, Peters has 12 goals and 14 assists.

For his efforts earning the Warrior Player of the Week, Peters will receive a Warrior Burn XP2-O – a $120 value. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.
