The first Polk County High School Girls Lacrosse All Star game is in the books and congratulate all these young ladies for being selected to play. Team 2 sponsored by The Ranch Taproom and Coffeehouse Downtown Lake Wales defeated Team 2 sponsored by Williams Construction Company LLC 22-12. Team 1 came out firing in the 1st quarter taking a 10-2 at the end of the quarter but after that both teams settled in to play a very even game hosted by the Warner University Women’s Lacrosse team and played at Warner University. The Ranch team took 41 shots placing 31 on the goal lead by Senior and game Co MVP Bailey Dykes of Lake Wales and Sophia Hart from All Saints Academy. They had 7 different players find the back of the net led by Hart with 7 goals. Arabella Faz (Lakeland) stonewalled the WCC team saving 43% of the shots taken on her. 

The Williams Team was led by Senior Co MVP Sara Williams led the WCC team with 6 goals, Junior goalkeeper Skyla Ramirez recorded 9 saves. Regan Combs from Lakeland also recorded a hat trick to help led the Williams Construction team. 

We would like to thank The Ranch Taproom and Coffeehouse Downtown Lake Wales and the Williams Construction company for their sponsorship of both teams and Warner University and their Women’s Lacrosse team for helping to organize, host and put this event on.
