Coming out of the weather delay the Lancers tallied three straight goals to shrink the Hatters lead to three. Maya Sellinger got one back for Stetson with 12 seconds left to go into halftime with a 9-6 lead.

After halftime Longwood cut the Stetson lead down to one but Pani answered with her second goal of the game to push it back to two. The Lancers scored twice more to tie the game at ten going into the fourth quarter.

Longwood scored five unanswered goals before Bird completed her hat trick. Two more goals from the Lancers made it 17-11. Stetson then went and scored three goals in 1:04 from Bird, Kearney and Pani making it 17-14. Longwood scored again and Pani found the back of the net with one second left as Stetson fell 18-15.

The Hatters will now head on the road for a match up with Queens at 12pm on Wednesday April 17.
