Oxbridge HC Stan Ross Named US Men’s U-19 Assistant Coach

SPARKS, Md. — US Lacrosse and head coach Nick Myers have named the staff for the 2020 U.S. Men’s U19 Team. The staff is charged with preparing the team for the 2020 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Men’s U19 World Championship in Limerick, Ireland.
Named as assistant coaches were Pat Myers, Stan Ross and Andrew Stimmel. Tony Resch will serve as the assistant manager, Brett Emerine will be the team’s equipment manager and Ryan Davis will be the videographer.
“The US Lacrosse National Teams Committee has selected an incredible coaching and support staff to lead Team USA in pursuit of its ninth FIL U19 World Championship,” said Nick Myers, who is also the head coach at Ohio State. “We look forward to the responsibility of representing the red, white and blue and creating a remarkable experience for all the young men that are chosen to be a part of the national team process. This staff represents a blend of both college and high school coaches with brilliant minds for the game and a selfless attitude. We are all looking forward to getting the ball rolling with our first training camp in June 2019.”
The staff selections were made by the Coach Selection Subcommittee of the US Lacrosse High Performance Committee, consisting of:

- Past U.S. Men’s National Team Coach: Joe Alberici
- Past U.S. Men’s National Team Player: Kevin Leveille
- Past U.S. Men’s National Team Manager: Billy Rebman
- Pro Player Representative: Kevin Unterstein
- College Coach Representative: Brian Voelker
- US Lacrosse President/CEO: Steve Stenersen
- US Lacrosse VP of Lacrosse Operations: Ann Carpenetti
