About the Spartans: The Spartans come into the matchup off a neutral site victory over conference foe, Florida Tech. Tampa is 3-1 on the season and looks to continue their winning streak on home soil. Faceoff specialist, Alex Poma leads the SSC in faceoff percentage at 66% while Canyon Birch is second for goals scored with 13.
About the Knights: The Knights are 1-3 heading into the matchup but beat the Spartans the last time both teams matched up. Belmont Abbey’s lone win came in their first game of the season over Mars Hill. Since then, the Knights have had a tough schedule having to go against No. 12 Newberry and No. 1 Lenoir-Rhyne. The Knights will look to increase their series lead to 4-1 over the Spartans.
