BABSON PARK, Fla. (January 21, 2022) – Webber Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Chris Burdick has been named to the NAIA Rankings Oversight Committee for 2022.

The committee will review each national rating grid prior to the official announcement of the NAIA national rankings starting with the pre-season rankings issued on January 26th. NAIA Lacrosse National Rankings will post on January 26, February 23, March 9, March 23, April 26, and a final ranking on May 1. In addition, the NAIA official post-season ranking will conclude on May 13, following the NAIA Lacrosse Championships.

“It is an honor to represent the Appalachian Athletic Conference and Webber International University on this committee,” commented Coach Burdick referring to his appointment. “The ranking committee has a very tedious task each time the polls come out to make sure they have collected and reviewed all of the results from the season to date. Our job on the committee is to help support the rankings committee by providing a second layer of feedback and guidance on the process.”

Burdick has experience serving on committees, having served on the NCAA Division-I regional rankings committee and serving as the president of the MAAC Coaches Association from his time at Providence College.

Webber opens the 2022 season with a home game against Taylor University on Friday, January 28 at 2 p.m. on the Warrior Turf Field in Babson Park, Florida.
