  The Florida Launch have their eyes set on a franchise-record third sweep this season after taking the first of two regular season games against the Chesapeake Bayhawks. After beating the Bayhawks at home last Saturday, the Launch are traveling up to Maryland to close out their season series against Chesapeake. Thursday’s faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m. The game will be aired live on Lax Sports Network. Follow @florida_launch on Twitter for live updates. Coming off the 20-19 win, the Launch have significant momentum moving into their double-header this week. After dropping a season-high 20 points against the Bayhawks, earning the Launch a franchise-record sixth win, the Launch offense look to produce another high-scoring performance to keep Chesapeake at bay Thursday. Launch point-leader Kieran McArdle will be a key player in Thursday’s game. Last weekend, McArdle lead the Launch in points as he scorched the Bayhawks for four goals and three assists. Rookies Nick Mariano and Dylan Molloy also proved to be a force against the Bayhawks, teaming up to produce the game winner with under two minutes left in the game. The game-winning shot earned Molloy Cascade Rookie of the Week for Week 12. Florida currently sits in third place in MLL standings, a good position to be in considering that the top four teams at the end of regular season play will advance to the playoffs. The Launch return to FAU Stadium on Saturday, July 22 to take on the Charlotte Hounds in their final regular season home game of 2017.
