Boston (May 10, 2016): It might have been a short week with only two games, but the high-powered action was still there, especially with career marks hit and overtime victories!
New York Lizards 20
Florida Launch 14
The Lizards came out strong coming off a Week 2 bye. They started the game on a 5-0 run and never looked back. While the Launch scored the last six points in the game, they could not overcome the early deficit. Tommy Palasek and Rob Pannell both reached the 100 career goals mark in the first half. Matt Gibson and Paul Rabil led the Lizards with five points each. Casey Powell added four points (2G, 2A) while Conor Buczek tallied six points on one assist and four goals, including a two-pointer.

Ohio Machine 14 (OT)
Denver Outlaws 13
The Outlaws and Machine treated fans to another thriller in this rematch game. In this close game where the lead was never more than two goals, overtime seemed inevitable. Drew Snider and Jeremy Sieverts scored the last two goals of regulation to tie the game with a minute remaining. It took almost three minutes into overtime to determine a winner, in part due to three huge saves Scott Rodgers made in goal for the Machine. Steele Stanwick then found Marcus Holman on the crease and Holman netted the game winner with a bounce shot past Ryan LaPlante.
