Bailey Sarp, a Sophomore middie at West Orange High School scored 9 goals and 1 assist to lead his West Orange team to victory over Dr. Phillips and Olympia last week. He already has the school record for goals by a midfielder in a season with 47 so far. Thanks in a large part to the strong scoring of Sarp, the Warriors are having a fantastic season at 11-2 and the the two wins last week clinched the second-straight Metro West Conference title for West Orange.
Ellie Yenor, also a sophomore, is at Timber Creek High School. Over the last three games she has scored 15 goals on just 21 shots! That is great shooting.
She is also more than just a laser like shooter, Ellie has also dished off 9 assists, won 10 out of 13 draws, picked up ten ground balls and caused 6 turnovers. Not a bad weeks work for a sophomore.
Congratulations to both of these players for being named RipNet Shooters of the Week!
