Spanish River’s young squad traveled north to the Benjamin School campus Tuesday but ran into an inhospitable host and came out on the losing end of a 16-8 score. After scoring the first two goals of the game SR fell behind 4-2 by the end of the first. Benjamin stretched the lead to 9-5 at the half by outscoring SR 5-3 in the second. Benjamin furthered their lead to 13-8 after three and scored the only three goals of the fourth to finish the game with a 16-8 win. Spanish River goalie Jake Diamond kept the game close as he was credited with an incredible 28 SAVES.
