Legendary coach Richie Meade has received a commitment from another Florida talent as junior midfielder Jack Tangeman has chosen to head to South Carolina upon graduation. Jack plays club lacrosse for the Swarm and is a member of Team Florida.  Furman will begin play in the 2014 season. Tangeman adds, “I am excited to attend Furman University, an outstanding academic institution, and play for a great leader and coach Richie Meade. I am proud to be a part of the start of this Division-1 Program along with my teammates. I would like to thank all my coaches growing up including Pete Nielsen, Brian Moran, Danny Hogan and my Bishop Moore Catholic HS Coach Craig Cook. I also want to thank my football coaches including BMCHS Head Coach Matt Hedrick, a Furman graduate and athlete, for his leadership over the past four years. Lastly I want to thank my family for all their support and am proud to be a fellow college laxer along with my two sisters Kate and Lindsey. Go Furman!
