Boone was ahead early and had a shot at victory.  But Bishop Moore  scored the game winner (pictured) :34 in the fourth. Bishop Moore (8-1) used a strong 3rd quarter push to recover from a 3 goal deficit and defeat district rival Boone (5-2) 8-7 on Thursday evening. The Braves lead at the half 4-2 and scored just moments into the third to go up by 3. The Hornets then got their offense in gear, hitting the back of the net 4 times in a 4 minute period to go up 6-5. The teams traded goals and the period ended with Bishop Moore up 7-6. Paul Chong tied the game again with 4:00 remaining. With a minute left in the game, Boone was called for a hold and Bishop Moore’s Joey McMahan was able to sneak in the go-ahead score at the 0:34 mark. Boone won the ensuing face-off, but a strong defensive effort forced a turnover and the Hornets held on for their third consecutive one goal victory.
