Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
After three years of futility Lely finally got off the skids against Immokolee doing enough to get the 5-4 victory. Cody McCauley led the way with 3 of their 5 goals.   In addition to Rego and Monperimier each added one and Mark  Markin added 2 assists.  Sam Halaiere and Markin Mark both played great games to help secure the victory for Lely. After the game Lely’s Head Coach Gary Chernow  said,  “This was the first boys varsity lacrosse win in Lely school history. The kids played their hearts out and deserved the win. They played as a team, to the end.” Next up for Lely is a trip to the Community School of Naples at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
