West Orange and Olympia Raise $10,000 for MD Anderson Cancer Research

[album: http://insidefloridalacrosse.com/wp-content/plugins/dm-albums/dm-albums.php?currdir=/wp-content/uploads/dm-albums/Pink and White Game/] West Orange and Olympia faced off in the first annual Pink and White Game.  The game was a huge success raising $10,000 for MD Anderson Cancer Research and a very spirited game that featured great uniforms, great pre-game festivities and a fantastic 11-1 rally that pushed West Orange to victory.

With the West Orange starting defenisve unit benched for the first quarter Olympia pushed out to a 4-1 lead.  West Orange then went on a tear that included 11 goals in the second and third quarters.  Senior Alec Benkovich scored or assisted on seven-straight WO goals during the rally.  Sophomore Nick Poidomani added 3 goals and an assist and senior goalie Jonah Larsen saved 18 shots.
