Boca Raton vs. St. Andrew’s Highlights Start of District Finals Tonight

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Most of the state’s district finals will be played tonight and tomorrow night, joining last night’s district winners Providence (District 5), Viera (District 21), Cypress Bay (District 29) and Gulliver (District 31).  A link to the full schedule can be found by clicking here.  In addition, a link to the full brackets can be found by clicking here.  You may want to fill out a few of those for Lee’s bracket challenge. We caught the semi-finals of District 26 Tuesday night and found a much improved Boca Raton team easily win its match against Saint John Paul II, 17-3.  The Bobcats took it on the chin in the regular season match-up against the Eagles and theirs has to be one of the biggest reversals we have seen.  Boca started fast and never slowed down and credit goes to Coach Holly and his team for improving so much during the spring.  SA defeated the upstart West Boca Raton Bulls who surprised many by qualifying for the district play-offs.  The Bulls contested every shot and should be pleased as they look forward to next year.  SA was easily the earlier victor versus Boca, but we expect a much better contest tonight, to be played at Saint John Paul II at 7:00pm. Below are some photos from those two games and get out to see some great lacrosse tonight across the state!
