Sources have confirmed that an investigation is in progress and potentially finished, and that the school is waiting to hear from the FHSAA as to the findings and if any punishment is going to be handed down if the FHSAA deems that violations have taken place.  The FHSAA had not confirmed anything to FLN yet as the information given to us came in late Friday afternoon. Attempts were made to contact the Eligibility and Compliance Department at the FHSAA but left messages have not been returned yet. FLN will continue to investigate the story on Monday when the FHSAA offices re-open. A message was left with LB Athletic Director Jerri Kelly by FLN late Friday but that message has not led to a return call yet, potentially due to the time of day we left the message. We at FLN will continue to pursue the story through its conclusion and will update this when more information comes in.
