In a huge win for Buchholz the Bobcats set themselves up for the top seed in District 3 with a perfect 6-0 regular season district record.
Robert Anhalt scored four goals including the game winner to lead the Bobcats to a 7-6 win
On Thursday night the Bobcats traveled to Oak Hall for a game in which many of us considered Buchholz to be the underdogs. Powered by excellent face off work by Evan Vogel and a four goal game by Robert Anhalt, including the game winner, the Bobcats held off the Eagles 7-6.
Buchholz goalie Devin Smith made 14 saves as the Eagles, who were held to outside shots for most of the game, fired the rubber 32 times.
That defense was led by Chandler Coons who also dished on the game winner.
The Bobcats went on to roll over Trinity Catholic 15-0 to complete a huge week and put themselves in the driver’s seat in District 3.
